It would help me very much if the option display posts "newest first" could be set as a default. On the profile, maybe ? I am very much used to that way and now I always, after a new post, have to change this setting and go back to the first page to view posts that way.
Thank you very much ! Smiling

Tabs,
Thanks for that hint - it does make it so much easier. I appreciate the help. It may even encourage me to read other subjects but ...... we'll see)

Lynty and Flo - I always go to the 'last post' (on the right of the index) first then click on the arrow/page icon next to the submittors name and you will get the last post made on any subject.

I admit it's not as convenient as having the posts listed in reverse order but it does save scrolling through pages of posts that I may have already looked at.

Hi florian and cameraman, I too have a problem with having to scroll down to the bottom to find the newest post on this board. It makes it very unfriendly. Would be great if one could fix it to appear as newest post first. That way one would not have to scroll back too far. I have only used/read three or four sections/headings on this board under the birding section and now this section re questions on the boma. The others are far too long. It is a great suggestion to have it a choice on our individual profiles. Those then who want to scroll through from old to new may do so.
Good thinking florian and I hope cameraman DOES read this and respond)
