Thank you for allowing me to do so, Icy-man. I am seriously considering getting a laptop before my next long trip, so that I am not locked out of anything just because I have not memorized 250 different passwords! LOL

This thread has been so much fun, I hate to see it end. We will just have to arrange to "meet" again. Aloha until then, and hugs to all who followed my adventures. I must admit, Amsterdam was my very favorite BIG city along the Rivers we traveled, but there were so many delightfull small cities in Germany & beyond. Those of you who live on that side of the world are probably use to it, but for those of us who live in the "NEW WORLD", it's a real experience.

We left Rothenburg before nightfall, but yes... saw the Lorelei, and brought home a bottle of the wine from that region... very good!

I have MANY pics of the beautiful towns, castles and churches along the Rhine, Main and Danube Rivers. I will be making a slide show of them, and posting the URL here for anyone who's interested, as time allows. My favorite old towns were Rudesheim and Rothenburg. Durnstein, Austria was lovely even at night. Of course, Vienna... but much too much to take in in just one day!

Hi There Emjay and Hubbie.

I am very glad you are safe at home again.

Thank you and you'r husband (and Swift) also for the input you have done on that lovely day we shared. It was a special day, which i'll never forget.
