Meet Insanebushie

Bushie started as a temporary zoomie in September 2008 when Jacques was on leave, and she started working in Reservations in February 2009.  Her duties consist of reservations, checking in guests as well as doing check outs, welcome cards (beautifully made by hand) as well as cards and menus for special occasions and bedtime stories.  When Jacques is on leave she checks bar stock and she zooms whenever she gets the chance and has the time.   Since Valdi left she has also been helping with Housekeeping and Curios.  Whenever she can, Bushie helps Wesley with orders and private dinners and also helps with braaing at bush braais.  She makes welcome back drinks (after evening game drives) when it is her turn to do so.  When Karin goes away, Bushie is also chief baby sitter for Spot.
Her favourite animals are wild dog, cheetah and lions and she is very fond of birds and has been birding for a long time.
She guided for 6 years in Kwa Zulu Natal.
Bushie says:-
"Living in the bush is a privilege and a passion.  There is nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of a distant roar of lions or the chorus of the jackals and waking up to the morning calls of birds, jackals and even lions.  I am lucky to be where I am."
