Africam

Hi everyone, my name is Sabinè. Africam was first introduced to me in the summer of 2006. All it took was for ‘Zoomie’ to find 3 giraffes way off in the distance and I was hooked! From that day forward I knew that I would be sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next amazing sighting. There have been too many to count, but over the years I have kept the memories by grabbing screen shots of all my favourites. And for the ones that I missed, I am thankful for the many wonderful members who have posted pictures and videos.

My home is in central Ontario, Canada. I am married with 2 lovely daughters. I work as a director at a car dealership. My passions are nature, travel, reading, running, piano and of course Africam.

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to travel to Central America & the Caribbean, Europe, Asia and (northern) Africa. Now I have a new dream destination…South Africa! How great it will be to see our favourite waterholes and meet with the awesome staff of the lodges in person!

I love Africam for educating me daily and sharing all the beautiful sights & sounds. I am grateful for all the friends that Africam has introduced me to. I am thankful to all the lodge owners for being a part of the Africam experience, the Zoomies for being our eyes, and the rangers & staff for inter-acting with us. Thank you for letting me be a part of Africam.
