The link to EP on the home page, in the series of green buttons on the right side of that page, works to open Elephant Plains.  The link on the left side in the orange margin does not--it opens NK.

My WM player 10 is now not able to full screen properly on Nkorho. It full screens with a smal upside down image. Still no audio. Is this just my problem or are some others here having that problem? I do'nt know if I should change back to WM player 11,as that buffers constantly also. I also am unsure if this problem is caused by IE 7 and if I should change back to IE6,but I am unsure how to do this.

I can confirm that there is no sound at Nkorho.  That's a problem on their end, not yours.

I can't confirm WMP issues 'cause I think we're not really supposed to be viewing on stand alone players Eye-wink

if you have problems with wmp11 , just unstall it and download again.i had  the same problem and had to remove it and start over..i use mediaclassic players and use one for africam and one for ep .but when you install mediaplayer go to preferences and put check mark for 2 players .

Hi Odie.

Nkorho is working just fine for me (though I wish they would raise the camera to the sky).

EP has been undergoing some maintanance today, links haven't worked correctly.  I'm not sure if it is operating yet.  Try the green button link on the home page.  The link in the margin to the left (in theh orange margin) doesn't work--it links to NK.

Thank you, Smalldog!

I'll keep trying. Both links are out of sort for me.

Buffering back on Nkorho for me. EP worked perfectly for me last night my time but have not tried it today. I like Nkorho better.I am using IE 7 and WM 10,not WM 11 now.I was 'told' WM 10 is better. There have been others complaining about buffering here and other problems with one or both streaming cams but I still want to know if this is just my problem or others are getting it also.  I used to have much better viewing before, when I had dial up. This is very strange. I have enabled cookies and tried to stop my firewall and restart it when cam is first on as someone here suggested but it makes no difference to the constant buffering and freezing today for me.

Lisa,

I lost Elephant Plains again.  Nkorho works better for me.  I have it on with the sound turned up to listen to the insects and birds since we are in the middle of winter here in Pennsylvania.

I'm thinking it may be a problem with your server.  NK has been fine all day in my area, East Coast of the USA.  No buffering.

Suzanne, yes Elephant Plains has gone again for me too. I don't know why I am having so much trouble with Nkorho lately as it seems to be working ok for others here. I have tried everything suggested to fix the buffering and freezing image problem I have and it still happens and mostly it happens just when something interesting comes on the cam, which is really starting to annoy me as I have to stop and restart the cam and by then the animal, bird etc I was looking at has gone.

I right clicked on the image and clicked on Stastics and mostly the Kbps is low that the content is currently being received at. Does anyone know why this happens? I have broadband.

You're not on wireless, on a laptop, are you?

I think maybe you should call your internet provider and find out what is wrong because your signal is low.

My stat's are

Network/Internet connection:  1879.6 kbps

Content being received at: 261.0 kbps

This is on a wireless network

Don't know why you are receiving a low signal.   Sometimes the internet providers don't give the high signal that you are paying for.  You should call them and complain.

smalldog many people who have a broadband connection in New Zealand have complained about how slow it is and other problems with it. There was even a piece about it on a news program on tv here once. Some users have even said that their dial up connection worked faster and was much bettter than their broadband connection is now.
