new and lost in webcam space

i have become a member, and figured out how to paste my pic if i get one, but how, who, pans cam? can i move cam  to zoom in closer? ANYONE? how are you guys getting such great pics? they are clear and real close!! i really need help to get pics as a newbie and so do many otheres i assume. i have media player, and joined wavelit. also i live in united states am 6 hours behind africa. i have looked the past two days at 4-5 am africa time and seen an empty watering hole. when is best time to hopefully see some wildlife.
