Hello everyone.  I have never posted, but have been frequenting the site to get a look at where I will be in 6 weeks!!  I am so excited.  I will be going to the Kalahari first for 2 weeks to work with meerkats (on the real Meerkat Manor).  I am an Earthwatch volunteer.  Then I'm off to Elephant Plains, and then to Phinda (Vlei Lodge).  Thought I would see who else may be going that way this year, and get any advice I might need for my trip to the reserve.

Hello & welcome Meerkats!  I wish you a wonderful trip.  Sounds like you will have many great stops along the way.  Ingwe is another good one to chat with - she is headed back there for a holiday in just a couple weeks.

Hi Meerkats!!  Welcome to Africam and the boma!  I so envy you for your upcoming trip.  Talk to Katja and Gerda on the Waterhole Chat forum.  They were in both EP and Nkorho a month ago.  Janine lives in SA and might have a tip or two for you as well.  Please stop in to the chat forum and meet the gang!
