A strange grunting noise, not sure if it is the wind tho. Did the grazers come to the field in front of the lodge for the night ?

Ah yes, I heard it as well at Nkorho.  Sounded way off in the distance.

Was that what that grunting was ? It did sort of sound like a "warm up" to a roar.

If we can hear the chuffing that well, maybe it will be close enough for a visit ?

I think I've fallen victim to the phantom critter under the tree at NK.  I know others have "seen" it sometimes, too.

Oh my.  Either that's one big choo choo train chugging "I think I can, I think I can" or that's one big Lion! (NK) Sent chills down my spine and up it again.

You're all correct about that Lion sounding very close to the microphone!  Show yourself Leo (or Leone).

I can't stand this.  Just listen to that sound.  Is that irritation?  Or just communicating?  Or a Lioness who has lost her cub?  (NK)

I am not sure but I think they "chuff" like that when they are near each other.

I can't really tell, but, if you straiin your eyes I think it may well be that there are Lions laying in the grass, just out of sight (NK).  I think I see just a portion of two light forms there.
