Fantastic Wil, did you stay at Nkorho? Or another lodge?

Yes we stayed at Nkorho at the end of August beginning of September. This year the same period.

Season is dry, grass is low and if you have luck you see a lot.

 

Nhorho (see website) is a small lodge with good facilities.

Amazing video, Wil. It was interesting to see the pan from a different perspective and to go along on the game drives. You had some amazing sightings, how long were you there? Did you spend all your time there or did you move to other lodges? I have a million questions because, like a lot of people, I dream of going there someday. It is nice to get info from people who have already been there and know first hand what the experience has been like. Thanks for posting the video! Smile

Hello Shiloh,

we spend only 3 days at Nkorho. We came from Blyde River Canyon and Kruger Park but as you can see in this video, at Nkorho we had the best experience. Reason is you are able to go with the ranger very close to all the animals (approx. 2 till 5 meters).

I can tell you "To be so close you will never forget".

This is the reason why we go back next month and stay 5 full days but no guarantee you will see them all.
