i guess we need to have some sort of mechanism that makes it obvious there is a problem - a date & time from the camera on the video might be a good start. we are going thru some major system re - engineering proccesses right now, so these sort of things should be addressed in those projects. I know that we all understand and appreciate that things become most difficult in ways we cannot even imagine when things electrical and electronic go haywire in your remote situation. I just want to know that what I am watching is no longer live, but is a rerun. A little word like "clip" in the corner of the screen would do it - maybe hook it to the button you press that starts the clip running....automatic notification. I am wondering whether what I am looking at this minute is a live pic or one from last month.......I have no way to tell. The clock - I thought it was a good idea back on Jun 23 when I posted it as a suggestion. I truly do appreciate your hard work for us.....I just don't want to use my time on a rerun. Thanks for giving this gift to us....I love it, and watch every moment I am awake and at home.

Sure can understand that technical problems occur when broadcasting live from your locations but....I feel a bit silly sitting watching a re-run....please be honest next time and give me the choice of watching a re-run or not!!! Again, humble apologies, it certianally wasnt our intention to mislead anybody - this happened on a Friday night when everybody was a bit laid back until this got out of hand. It just didnt occur to us to make a post given all the things that were going wrong at the same time. i guess we need to have some sort of mechanism that makes it obvious there is a problem - a date & time from the camera on the video might be a good start. we are going thru some major system re - engineering proccesses right now, so these sort of things should be addressed in those projects. __________________

We have sorted the tangle out - apologies for the interruption - things just get wild here & there. Also well done to the sleuths who figured out the correct date for the re-run - we will be running another competition soon

No problem running a replay but PLEASE inform us. I remember once before (quite a while ago) that a recording was put on and folks didn't know it until many viewing hours later. They weren't too happy about it.
Members spend countless hours trying to document the sightings with times/dates, photos & videos for each day/night. To keep the database that is being built accurate, it would be nice to know if the feed is not live.
Thank you and sorry for all the weather related and technical problems Africam encountered. Glad you got them all sorted out.
