Me too, Ex-centric.  Our New York storms are mild compared to SA, but I miss them.  Out here you almost never hear thunder.  Our weather in Southern  California isn't very dramatic, except when it causes the whole area to burst into flames.  On the whole, I prefer a nice thunderstorm!

My friend from SA said that the storms are one of the things she really misses since she lives in Canada.

Did I just see flash of landie lights off to the right? What a night to be out and about...Oh - maybe it was light reflected off raindrops? 

Ground does look different like it was rained on. Sure hope the cam can hold up through this storm. What a lot of lightening.

After every lightning flash cam really struggles to get back.

Just got image back, though some buffering, but ground looks far different than before - either it poured like %&*# or ...?

Yes, I have a black screen now, it was too good to be true, such a magnificent storm, the cam's no match to that.
