Nkorho Time Shift Temporarily Down

I would like to be able to just click in and watch some livecam action to relax during the day once in a while, but it seems like it is aways a time consuming hassle and I'm about to give up on it.  Ease of use seems to be a problem.  I ccouldn't find even one live cam available to view, all had "unavailble at this time".   Thank you,  rlatkin

all of the videos have been unavailabe for two days now.....IM GOING NUTS!!!!

It would be nice to be able to view the cam action again soon it really sucks that we can't veiw the action.  PLEASE HURRY LETS SEE THE ACTION AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would be especially neato keeno if we had remote control of the cameras so that we could take turns panning and zooming on what we wanted to see.

Why are the cameras always "unavailable"?????  This makes me crazy!!!!!! I haven't been able to see anything for weeks.   UGHHHHHHHHH   It's so frustrating.  I just love this site!

Hey gang, using Google Earth, I found Nkorho Pan watering hole and resort in the south of Africa.  And by zooming "out" was able to see the area all around the sights we see from the water hole cam.  Quite fascinating for a city boy from the States. Try it !

I assume the Time Shift camera is still down as well?????  Don't hear anyone talking about that one.  Thanks JB

I have many questions.  Approximations are all I ask.  Help me out if you can.

How many waterholes on the property?  Elephants?  Acres?  Giraffes?  Leopards?

I would like to map this site on Google to get an idea where we are at.

Do we know when the streaming will be over.  I have not had any ability to view and catch up while at work, because I work while you all sleep. LOL

 Some places on this site I read, but am not  sure where, don't remember, it tells you that the cams are run by volunteers so sometimes they move around and other times they are still. Also read cams run by the wind that why you hear wind. If you look to the left side of your screen it shows your name and account, below, is chat at the water hole go to NK chat and ask who ranger is, he will help you with what you need to know.

As a "renewed" member 4/16, having been disabled for couple of months by computer troubles;  was looking forward to "going along" on the safari trips live again.    But am finding only a white, blank screen where video used to automatically appear when page opened   ....    even though I rcv'd confirmation email today that the NK and EP cams were "cool" and "up".      Also just read about NK "Time Shift" being down temporarily,  and the "streaming cameras moving over to a Flash Video format".        Am confused .... can Africam staff help ?

Hi Charles, There are times when the cams are down for technical reasons.  Right now flamingo cam is down until they are able to go to the island to make repairs after the nesting is done.  NK streaming cam is up as well as most of the refresh cams.  EP streaming cam went down last night but hopefully they will have the problem fixed soon.  The cams are using Flash player now.  You might want to check HERE for further info and you can post if you are still having problems post HERE

Hi kt.  The streaming cams at Nkorho and Elephant Plains as well as most of the refresh cams are working right now.  If you need further help with how to view the cams check the links I put in another post I made in this thread or feel free to pm (private mail) me or another moderator for help.
