Its likely the rain has filled up smaller little ponds and streams all over the park...so the animals dont need to come to Nkorho to get water because there are other water sources nearby... __________________

Sorry if this has already been posted...in case you haven't heard, all 3200 miners are free from the mine collapse in South Africa. Wonderful news. Hi Debby, it's my turn to say Thank You! I've been at work all day and unable to keep up with the news. I had heard earlier that even those who weren't freed yet, at least had air. Lack of oxygen is generally the killer with mining accidents. Yes, this is wonderful news. As Ms Charlie said, most of the mining accidents in the U.S. don't have as good an outcome. __________________

Maxx, I've always believed most mammals live in the moment. Walk to the mailbox and your dog acts like you've been gone all day lol. 2 minutes, 2 days...all seems the same to them. I've always said they think that, whatever today is, is their new life LOL. But certainly, they have some higher awareness. As you said, they understand hierarchy. And I've seen more than a bit of scheming & sneaking that show ability to 'think' & conspire. __________________

I was going to ask if the ellie was pink. Aquila, did they do that for you?...the way your sig shows all 3 awards...or did you combine the files? Looks nice. Wappi, nature or not, we are like that 1 ranger. You spend time watching these animals, getting to know them, and you feel protective of them. That's all. I'm always worrying about poor Garbo because she's alone. I worry about the babies coming. We understand nature but we also love the 'oz'ness of our wh and don't want to see it drastically changed. That large of a coalition can really upset the balance around here & Djuma. __________________
