Boston Terriers Rule!!! My first dog when I was 2 yrs old was a Boston. Still one of my favorite breeds! People never cease to amaze me with what they do with animals. :( I have 8 rescues now. LOL Most came from death row at various shelters some being gassing shelters. They were all out of time and sceduled to die. Lilly is my first pure bred rescue. All the others are mutts and I adore each and everyone of them. :) BTW Lilly's pics are in the pets thead. Ugly but soooo sweet! __________________

I love all the Bull doggy types of breeds. My favorites are the Boston Terriers. Bostons are my favorites, too! I have two of them- plus I'm fostering one. I also have a little basenji (I think!) mix I got at the SPCA! __________________

Oh, I just love boxers!! It's always a relief when they get a clean bill of health - especially being HW negative!! I have worked at a shelter and you wouldn't BELIEVE the reasons people relinquish their pets to the pound  This guy is sure lucky to have you! __________________

Aquila.....THANK YOU for taking in this pupper! She is very lucky! A little over 2 years ago we were asked to foster a 9 month old dal who had been seized by the Humane Society. Previous owners were starving her & abusing her. She was a walking skeleton. Today, she is happy & healthy & VERY loved. I will NEVER understand the sub-humans who HAVE to have a purebred dog, pay all that money, then do such dispicable things to them. But as you said....their loss is our gain. Enjoy your new addition! __________________

 Wow Aquila you mean someone was actually going to send a purebred Boxer to the pound? Must be someone who doesn't appreciate what a great and affectionate breed they are.

Good morning/evening peeps! Awww poor thing. But they do very well with only 3 legs. I bet he is up and going in no time. I just got back from taking my latest rescue to the vets. Luckily, she is a good weight, heartworm negative and the vets say she is full blood boxer. The vet couldn't believe her previous owner was going to send her to the pound. Their loss, my gain. :) __________________
