~~ NEW DAY ~~
NKORHO Watering Hole Chat - Saturday, July 14th
***NEW DAY STARTED***
I was wondering what that chirping sound was that we heard a few minutes ago. Wasn't familiar with it. Anyone know?
I'm voting it's a Rhino. Has kind of a slow methodical drag-ish sound to it. Sorry to get so technical.
ok sound people, what is that noise maker?
Our Mr. Reliable Rhino is getting a drink.
KeeKee, maybe it was the Giant Eagle Owl. It was sitting by the point and right before it took off there was a splash and it flew across the water hole towards the right of the Marula tree. It was flying low to the ground so might have looked like something running.
Wow, I didn't see that KeeKee, but sure wish I had. Some of those smaller animals are so nervous when they come to the water hole I get on edge just watching them. Hopefully someone else saw what you did. A video would be great.
Yesterday on the news they were showing a Dukier that they have on exhibit at a US zoo, They are so cute and fragile looking.
Yesterday I saw something at the WH very small thought some sort of a deer type animal it was at the finger but on cam side with it's back to us, All of a sudden it bolted going across the water it hit the water so hard it sounded like a gun blast and water shot way up in the air and it was just a streak headed toward the right side of the marula tree. Anyone else see that?
I just noticed the "Members List" is on MySite again. I had no idea there were so many members, I guess only a handful decide to post on the forum.
Anything exciting happening on the pan?
Hi Pansy. Pretty quiet so far. A quick rhino visit. duiker came for a drink and recently heard a side-striped jackal. That's about it for now.
