ex_centric, I saw a video of a zebra that tried to drown the lion that attacked it. It was amazing that the zebra held the lion underwater then after awhile fled. __________________

I have seen wildebeest circle their young when preds were attacking and the baby made it ok... I think it's instink to protect the young....Have you seen the vid of the ellie being born how the Older ellies circled the newborn to protect him? __________________

I think it was interesting seeing the video after watching them on the Djuma cam last night or this morning, forget which. They looked a bit "bovine" and/or dangerous on the cam, but very endearing on Campbell's vid. :D
