Here,, here! The view looks different somehow. It's great and we're so happy to have our water hole back.

It is kind of a scary night however, doncha think? Silent and noisy at the same time. I'm afraid King Kong may suddenly appear out of the trees. (That's a joke of course)

it may be spooky, but wow what a beautiful pic. all we need now are some animals to come and visit.

It does sound wicked there with the wind. Sorta sounds and looks like it is raining also. I am hoping it will stop soon before daylight and all the thirsty critters will come out

Hello Everyone :) My cam is buffering. Must be because of the wind?

Hi Lana

Think it has been doing that all evening. And NO animals around. Pretty quiet.

Earlier this evening, as the moon was setting, someone mentioned how full it looked.
Doesn't it always look full ? Wouldn't it look full due to the IR camera detecting the true shape of the moon rather than just the part we see that is illuminated by the sun ?

Never thought about the IR and the moon, maybe someone can answer that.

For all the winds and such you don't see ripples going across the water.

The sun rises, a new day. Hurrah!

Does no one care for the new day?

I'm new here, but I very much care about the new day, the sun rising and appreciate your enthusiasm.

Thank you, and welcome Nosewbed. Be patient, the new day will come on, and the beasts will appear.
Sorry that my response took so long, my husband just dumped a big bunch of fried rice on the dining room carpet. Cleaning it up took a while.

Anyway, welcome.

Hi, Everyone! Talk about a WEIRD night! I think I had the cam up for the last 5 hours....and until the last 15 minutes or so, didn't hear a PEEP! Except for the wind, I guess. Let's hope for a more eventful moring! :D

Happy to be here. I've been checking everything out for the last couple of weeks and I'm hooked. Now I'm craving some fried rice.

notsewbed, please feel free to ask questions. Lots of newbies get worried about stupid questions. There are no stupid questions, just my stupid answers and other peoples even better answers.

No, just his apparent footprint. No big thing. Actually a big thing, but nothing to worry about.
Actually, it was more like on of the giant "Terror Bird" footprints, as I imagine them. But they're been extinct for some whioe now, so no worries!

Thank you. I registered for the forum because I had lots of questions, but for the life of me I can't think of any of them now. When they come to me I'll jump in and I appreciate your kindness.

On that note, I've noticed how courteous and friendly everyone is and it's really great to see.
