I think I should have waited until someone posts the new day.  I see we missed our Big 5 in One Day, but if Ms Kitty would show up before 5:00 am CAT, it still could be a 5/24.

There used to be a large log that laid over that end to help protect the pipe.  I think I read it somewhere in the Q&A forum that one ellie has broken the pipe more than once.  A few weeks ago, the Lodge rearranged the logs and moved some of the rocks again, but now this ellie has totally undone that job.  Have you looked at the comic character nominees in the Africamedy Awards forum?  The ellie is shown there doing his best to pull up the pipe!

Who knew??? The right spot was right back where he started.

He is having a hard time finding the right spot.  Everything else must have tasted bad, he kept spitting it out.

NEWS FLASH!!

PRETURBED PACHYDERM PLAYS PLUMBER!!

A very preturbed pachyderm came to the pan late last night and began pulling the plumbing pipe out!  First, he lifted rocks and other pieces of logs and threw them into the wh!  He is either mad that more water was added or he didn't get his chance to come with the other ellies earlier in the day for their mud bath.  We hope he doesn't pull the plug in the pan or drink all the water!!!  It looks like he might do either at any minute.  Stay tuned for later updates!!

About 10-12 years ago when the grandkids lived with us, one of their favorite shows was "The Elephant Show" and they used to sing that song on the show all the time. I always thought it was so cute. Hadn't thought of it in years. (grandkids are 20 & 21 now)

So I guess I should say "Thanks for the memories!!!
