Cool eh Karen?
yea it was.... you saw too?
did it look like young male to you?

He went by too quickly!!! Do you hear any lapping?? Cross your fingers that he will come back again and stay for awhile right in front of the cam! Would a male lion travel alone? Would he ever bring the whole pride?? Oh, Lordy! I didn't dream this, did I??
Darn! Wish we could turn the clock either back several hours or ahead several so that a zoomie would be awake!! I am hearing funny noises!
looked like he slowly walked on by wh, thankfully right in front of cam.
Told ya, you need to stay on Earth and contact Mother Nature. We need to find Noah's Ark... lol
They do travel alone tho, if you look in the lodge's ranger's report, I "think" it mentioned recent sightings of a young male lion around the area.Karen from VA PhotosLions and Leopards Info
Not sure if it is young or not Karen.
We've seen lone male lions come several times. Either walking around scoping out the territory or laying down right in front of the cam. LOL
Aquila and others who capture video, are you able to put things in slow motion so a person can see him longer??
not sure what noises you are hearing, only thing I'm hearing are those dang toads... grrrrrrrrr
what do the noises sound like that you are hearing Ann?

On another note, at Pete's Pond earlier there were 2 lionesses with cubs. They were so cute playing. Vids are in yesterday's thread.
Thanks for the video. In real time it was only 12 seconds! I actually liked that better than the slowed down one. Played them both twice. I head some odd cough like noises at first and then jackels, etc. I almost missed the whole thing because I was just about to send this link for Noah's Ark.
Dang. I was upstairs painting. I haven't seen a male at our wh yet. Thank heavens for Aquila.
Hmmm...do ya think he was paying a wee courtly call on our elusive Ms. Garbo?

This is the only Mother Nature and animals that I can find. One of the Africamedy nominees Ms Edwards that uses the same music for her video "What a Wonderful World is better, but this is nice too.
That bug on the lens is giving me the willys.

I thought it was a bug too, but I think it is really the owl flying back and forth.
There IS a bug that keeps crawling across the lens.

Yep, it's a bug. It even stopped in the middle of the screen for a look at it's legs. LOL
Jackals?
Looked like Jackals to me.
Eeew! Bugs! Tell that owl to eat that bug! We see his shadow fying back and forth. For those of you who are too young to remember old radio dramas, here is a what you heard at the beginning of each episode of THE SHADOW

QUESTION: Windows Movie Maker. I am trying to drop in a song. No matter what I do or what song I choose to go with the video, it cuts off at 20 seconds. Anyone know why.....?
I shut it off, came back in under new project, and it still does it...
