That first one looked so big I couldn't tell if it was a hyena or not. __________________

hyaenas remind me of bored, mischievious children. If nothing is going on they will try to shake something __________________

I am disappointed that we didn't get to see what night critters came over to check out the fallen Buff. Even if they wouldn't touch it, I am betting they were hanging out there for a while tonight. __________________

I was away feeding my dogs so I got to see only one. I wasn't sure what it was, so thanks. Wish they could pan over to the buff. They could shine the landie lights on it maybe? __________________

The sky is darker than it has been over the past couple of nights. __________________

I guess the buff is far enough away from mic to even hear if other critters go near. __________________

All 3 WHs have lots of wind! I wonder if it's a stormy somewhat. When I was looking at my recordings I was moving it fast & you could see the clouds coming in and it getting darker. __________________

That sounds good, Sag. Perhaps more rain will fall. While we are waiting for critters to come by for a drink, I'll share what I just thought of. It's about the Zeb's having excellent night vision. On a very dark night they have an advantage over the Lion's in that they can see the Kittie's much better than the Kitties can see them. This being said, I guess the Zeb's can relax a tad more tonight. __________________

I wonder how the animals are doing in the parts of Africa with flooding now? __________________

Sheesh!!! Well, that's an all time record. It's taken me over 3 hours, since I got home from work, to catch up on the days pics, videos and chat. Damn job!!! One more reason to hate it! Shouldn't have to work this hard to catch up - should have been here the whole time, experiencing it as it happened. On the other hand........................without the job, couldn't pay the electric bill and the cable bill, so there wouldn't be anything to watch! Oh well............ BTW, hi bomites!

Well the cliff notes version of the day, Roger, is buff died, vultures are very happy (and probably a few jackals right now), and we're all concerned about TB. Hiya! __________________

May not look so different from our view. Animals don't seem to bother with the skin. __________________

LOL Jean and hide, too. Surely, the hyenas came and did their job on the buff. There's one now taking a drink. Guess we know that buffs are salty. __________________
