Cynthia, I had to laugh at the stampede one cuz if I am correct the two things chasing the zebras and impalas run by right before the wildies run around the top of the hole towards the lodge. If so, they should have been running the opposite way like behind the cam tree... not in the same general direction as the lions. LOL Makes ya wondeer how big their brains are. Smiling

Think of it as a positive 'be happy, life goes on' statement. I thought the video was awesome even knowing.

I could hear the growls\low roars in that stampede video. Boy, I wouldn't want to be on the wrong side of them when that happens!...not even in a landy.

Yep and I feel kind of bad cuz I made a musical video of them not knowing they had lost one of their herd. Sad

Well. that wasn't nice atall!

It looks like the wildies were discussing it. "hey, let's have some fun".

Poor wee Vervet sounded like a baby whining.

They do come sometimes at night. Especially over the next few months you will probably see them. Here is one of the coolest stampedes I ever witnessed at the wh. It was a strange night with all the herds lingering around the fields of the wh. Impalas, zebras, wildebeest. Then something gave chase to them. Probably lions.

If you can't watch it now.... be sure to check it out later.  :)
