Not real sure about the neck. We rarely see any badgers so not familiar with how they look on cam. LOL __________________

This same critter came the other night from the same exact area as this one. It too got spooked. It ran like a flash back towards the treeline from where it came. __________________

I would say the civet has a longer tail than a badger. Both are bushy or thick. __________________

The tail looked bushy & long too. Do both civet & badger fit that description? __________________

I thought it was kind of big too. Especially for the cam being pulled back so far. Only thing I can think of for size would be civet or possibly the badger. White tailed mongoose are good size too but sure didn't see the distinct white tail and they are rather bulky bodied. __________________
