Does anyone know what kind of centipedes those are that I see from time to time? They appear to be about 9 inches long, shiny black bodies, and dark maroonish-brown legs.

The species is most likely to be the African Giant Millipede Archispirostreptus gigas

Hello,
I think they are millipedes, not centipedes, but I don't know what species.
