Welcome your Majesty.
I'm quite new too.
Very quiet in the forum tonight.
Everyone listening to the sounds and hoping for something to happen.

Thanks! Yes, the sounds are quite enjoyable. Though, I would like to see some of the animals responsible for them. It was so exciting to turn on the africam and see giraffes! That is probably the best thing I have seen so far.

Lots of animals probably nearby.
At sundown, there were elephants, impalas, zebra, gnu, on the cam zoomed.
Frog splash now.
It can all change so quickly.
Is that a distant bark, or a bird

The water buffalo were my most amazing sight, so far.
They just filled the waterhole and all the surrounding open land.
Drunk all the water too, alas

Wow, I would love to see an elephant. It sounds like a bird to me. It is making its noise at pretty consistent time intervals.

Well, not really ALL the water, but you could see that the level had dropped considerably. We were imagining the poor frogs and terrapins ducking and diving to avoid all the buffs feet.
It was only just over a week ago

Being so new to this board, I cant wait until I can identify the different sounds. Snorting, growling, whooping, chirping, croaking.... wow so much to hear. I love it.

Moonsets are so cool to watch, then I can step out on my deck and see it overhead. Seems to be a quiet night, is it raining? Don't see any drops on the cam, so I guess not.

Hello! Thanks! My goodness, you guys weren't exaggerating. I can understand now how they might have significantly depleted the water.
