Hey Y'all,

How many posts have you made? Each of us has a role to fulfill, are you up to it? See what your community asks of you! LOL

8.) <25 posts - Shongololo sniffer
7) 25-99 posts - Cricket Hunter
6) 100-249 posts - Frog Chaser
5) 250-499 posts - Egyptian Goose Wrangler
4) 500-1249 posts - Impala Soother
3) 1,250-2499 posts - Zebra Striper
2) 2,500-5000 posts - Giraffe Spotter
1) 5,000+ posts - Lion Petter

I'm not fully satisfied with Egyptian Goose Wrangler, but how can I refuse to include Egyp and Tian? I don't know that I would encourage official rankings here because that often encourages post bombing, posting for posting sake and it would be a shame to change the flavor of interactions here. These have been well received as goofiness, so I'll share them here and see what happens. Maybe it's a signature based meme or something? I dunno, just having fun.

Cheers,

-Ben

(no, you're not dreaming, this has been edited some... I couldn't come up with a silly intro for this at first, but now, it's just silly.)

The animals Hyena, and Elephant have promise, but it's hard to come up with something outlandish for the occupation part.

Elephant washer is a real zoo occupation, but outlandish for a boma occupation since they come here to get drity/wet..

Turtle tracker and Goose wrangler are at least equivalent in danger, and I'm trying to push Goose wrangler down the list, not up... Thinking of keeping only one of zebra striper or Giraffe Spotter. Giraffe Jockey isn't bad (thanks MyistyLyn) Plenty of danger, pretty absurd...

I'm likely to turn that into Impala Calmer as well...

Another couple interesting mammals:
Kudu (a spiral horned antelope)
and Gnu/Wildebeast... Not sure about good occupations for us to be involved in with those either...

I would say the kudu should be just below the lion due to it's nobleness and it is wildebeest

Oh, yah, quite so! I agree on next to lion too. So we'll go with that. once we get all the animals gathered we'll figure out if we can keep more than we do now and set boundaries again...

Night!

I have one that fits my criteria for the gnu:
gnu gawker

Light hearted and subtlely geeky. Probably comes right after shongolo sniffer.

CACKLE! That's the spirit. I especially like Warthog Beautician because there's no way he'll get beautiful in the usual sense even with one, but someone's gotta try! We need a spin on dentistry for one I'm thinking. Elephants, warthogs have tusks around here, any others? And if we expand the list and not just swap out, turtle tracker is also good to have. NOW, here's an interesting angle. If it's not official, we could use the same ranges and have choices for them... It gets tough to remember though if we have bunches and bunches of animals! Have to ponder that...

Ohno! our list of major players gets bigger, huh? hmmmmmmm.

A play on words for him would be Buffalo Waterer, but I'm not completely sure about that...

What about the shorter form, "Olive Toad Director?"

I'm glad we haven't had to direct them lately! Pipe down would be MY direction! LOL

A "Tusker" is actually the name for an elephant-bull carrying big tusks...

Hmm!!! I'm still stuck with trying to determine which ones to use.. We don't want a whole lot more, since we do want to remember what's in the hierarchy and what's next...
