G'day Folk, happy to have discovered this uber cool forum! caught this jumbo having a dip dec 2 (africam) Your gonna love this! An Elephant comes or a bath! It was awesome!

Thanks for that info. do they use footage from this cam for research at all?
I am not sure whether the cam footage is used for research but I do know that many of the Lodges, and their Game Rangers, do conduct continual research into the animals that they encounter in the area, whether for identification (of different animals seen in a lion pride for example) or for research into their behaviour. They will gain much more information by watching the animals 'in person' than from watching camera footage I would think.

Im not sure if the cam, is movement sensor or human operation but if its human operated im not sure what the guy is thinking sometimes! Today hippo
