i'm no computer expert at all, but i think maybe it's your internet connection...I have that same problem at my home computer with dial up svc, but at the work computer, it works fine.... if you find something else out, let me know cuz I'd like to be able to watch from home

I've been having the same problem for about a week now. I don't think it's my Internet connection as nothing on my end has changed at all. I use cable internet and everything else loads fine. I ran speed tests and I'm within excellent parameters. It's been so unstable lately with the cam that I've greatly reduced my viewing time due to frustrations. __________________

Hi. Im just wondering if everyone has this problem or if its just my PC and if it is , is there a way to fix it.
While viewing the waterhole, the picture stops alot and skips, so its difficult to see the animals moving. I only get too for a couple of seconds. and then its like it freezes and starts again but the animal is in a different spot?
What you should remember is that this cam is 'in the bush' and viewing can be affected by many things, including the weather (both in the Sabi Sands and in Johannesburg) the sattelite connection, the internet, and other factors - such as animals knocking the camera! In particular the fact that the cam is in the bush (which can make it unreliable) and when technical faults occur it can take a while to get them sorted out. This can result in our viewing being disturbed at times. Overall we do not get too many interuptions to our viewing, thanks to the superior technology and expertise that Africam have invested in - when you do experience interuptions you will generally find that they do not last long unless there is a major fault - of which Africam try to inform us of. __________________

I am having this problem, too. Anyone else? Maybe they're still having problems with the satellite.
Edit: seems to be working fine, went to MSConfig and checked off a bunch of programs that open when the computer load's up.
