Uhhh?

What does the side-striped jackal call sound like

It's all on the Sounds Of Nkorho Cam website. Eye-wink

http://everyoneweb.com/WA/DataFilesngala/sidestripedjackal.wav

Hmmmmmmm........
When I clicked on the link I was taken to the sounds site but could not open the sound. Nothing happened.

I could also not get back 'here'....... and when I tried to I got the message that I was about to close 3 'tabs' - did I wish to close them or cancel?

Cancelling meant that I stayed on the sounds site (could not return to the Africam Boma) - closing the 'tabs' meant that I had to open a new window to get back here as it closed the window...... am I confused?

You bet I am! Evil

But don't you get tabs everywhere, provided you open enough windows? You have to open enough if you wish to cam, chat , surf, capture pics, have msn open, see incoming mails etc. You never have only one open Eye-wink I usually have them on the bottom of my screen, that's just as convenient as having them on top, I'm used to it.
True, the ones on the bottom are like tabs, except that other apps get mixed in with them..., and you have to minimize them all individually.

(I'm assuming you're talking IE6 just using the taskbar at the bottom here...)
Yes, sorry, that's the one I have and minimizing is not such a great job to do, is it? You don't do the same all the time and once you're installed you are happy for hours Laughing out loud

Yeah, all the basic things are the same in Firefox. I've not used aol explorer, so I have to defer to someone else on that. I suspect so, though. You click on a tab and you can switch between pages?
Ok Ben thanks for the help...Ill be downloading Firefox in the near furture!!!! Eye-wink

Even if you have clicked on the sounds site you don't see them? (Or Katia's ^T works too.)

What happens if you hold the control key and then the number 1 after the ^T?

Thanks benOden - but that still does not help me as I do not have these 'tabs' in my browser window! If I don't have them I cannot use them of course!
You don't have them if you only have one website open in your browser window. Try to press CTRL-T and voilà - another tab!
