I don't really know the meaning, parents often give their children that pet name. It may be from the word pumpkin, but that doesn't make much sense.
I just know who I will call that, just love it

Howwa, Punkin is such a lovely name, does it mean anything?

Lose him ???
I met him in Amsterdam on his first trip to Africa and I lost him there. Problem was, I had the maps and money and just everything with me and he didn't even know the right name of the place we went to. To make a long story short, I spent all day looking for him, cos he had a plane to catch that night. Not me alone, all the tram conductors in all of Amsterdam had a pic of him so they could report in if they saw him ...that sounds like a real good story !!....hope you will be able to tell us in person at some time !!
