I am new and am having some troubles with wav files

I have been trying to listen to calls and sounds that are available at http://www.everyoneweb.com/ngala/
Every time I click a link there, some kind of file downloads, then the box disappears. I do not hear sounds.
The main problem is that my PC starts locking up after the attempt to play a wav file, I have to re-boot to get back to normal ops.
Is my PC screwed up or do I need a different or better utility to play the .wav file at everyoneweb

Thx for your help during this exciting time! I worried that my SOS would have to wait until the cats moved off camera.
I got my WMP 11 installed, then I made sure WMP was set correctly per Gerdas' advice. I can hear the recorded sounds now.

HI Bronco,

You can try to make WMP your default player for .wav Files.

In Windows Media Player go to View, options, Formats tab, and select Windows Media File and Windows Audio File. Selecting these boxes should make the Windows Media player your default player for .wav sounds.

Hope it will work

Thx Gerda will try..However something isn't working right..can't download WMP 11, I must have a bug or damaged file.

Laughing out loud Laughing out loud Hi Bronko, I am using IE 11 and WMP7 and have no prob playing the files, I just did a check to be sure, not sure if the previous versions of both work well or not, but if you haven't, doing the updates may be the answer!

Hi Bronco..Not sure why it's not working for you. It's working perfectly for me and always has done. When i click a link and then one of the sounds WM Player opens and plays the sounds straight away.
