Sounded like a grunt or humming type noise. Very odd. Never heard that before. Puzzled

There was something earlier (frog?) that sounded like a rattle snake.

Egyp and Tian sure look peaceful (and quiet) just floating in the water. A big change from when those buffalo came through Smiling . Has anyone heard the lions in the last day? Guess they are off elsewhere sleeping off their meal.

Hey Ingwe, hope you are doing well Smiling.

Thanks, hope they come back and visit after digesting. I was just checking the leopard cam. There are more neat animals that cross through there. I sure wish that cam was live-streaming like this one.

LOL Husk, have you heard that "clang" noise on occasion? Sounds like someone playing "kick the can".

There was a pic of a Bokkie, looked like a small antelope or something. Perchance are you familiar with that one?

I think the person spelled it wrong or was using a nickname for the animal. The closest thing I can find is a "bokki" which is an old Norse word for a "he goat". The animal was smaller, but still looked antelope type. oh well.

Okay! A bokkie is a term used for any antelope that you aren't really sure what it is Eye-wink Have a look on google for a Klipspringer and see if that is what you saw. I have seen lots of those on the leopard cam, there are also some pics of klipspringers in the camera pics thread.

Ok, I thought the light colored thing in the water was a bird of some sort but it hasn't moved at all. What is it?

Thank you, yes that's it!!! And as I was looking, I found a zillion types of antelopes from very small to huge. It's a cute little thing. Thanks, I've learned something else new Laughing out loud

It's the geese, I think they have fallen asleep! At least there was 2 earlier. Eye-wink I reckon they are safe in the middle of the pond.

Thanks, I was wondering because they are so still. Makes sense to fall asleep in the water you'd defiantely hear something coming. Smiling

hi, just logged back in about an hour ago and wondering what's in the water. It looks like just one animal, but it hasnt moved at all, so i figured its probably just the 2 geese huddled together?
