Snakes

Being a relative new-comer to the sight, I was wondering if any snakes etc. had been sighted anywhere around the pan?

It would be quite difficult to see snakes near the waterhole unless the cam operator zooms in close enough, and has the luck to find one!

Many of the snakes in the area are arboreal (tree living) - and some of the ground dwelling snakes are nocturnal, or are too small to see on the cam.

I have a particular interest in the S's.... Snakes Spiders and Scorpions..... and would love to see them on the cam but I realise that they are all pretty secretive or too small to be seen - and that I am unlikely to see them unless I go there myself!

I think there was a photo of a Ground Hornbill, a few weeks back, with a small 'grass' snake in its beak.
Have a look through old photos
