Afternoon all! I'm at school still and want to try to show my students. I can't view through the main site, what is the URL of the camera?

Hi Jenny - take a look at the 'schools' forum!
Ms Charlie and her class have been very pro-active here for a few months and you would do well to link-up with her!

They are heavily in the Kalahari area. They get most of their moisture from the insects and other small things they eat. They have very tight family units and are adorable.

The show is a joint project between BBC, Animal Planet and I think Cambridge Univ. in England. They've been studying this family for 10 years.

meerkats are desert animals but the waterhole is situated in the bushveldt - so you will not see them there.

Rymada are you in the US perchance? There's an adorable show on Animal Planet called Meerkat Manor. It's an ongoing program about a family of Meerkats and their activities.
