JANUARY 2007 - Bird Pics
She's beautiful BigFrank !
Popped down to Humber Bay Park today to look for ducks etc. This is a female Red-breasted Merganser(mergus serrator). See Birding with BIGFRANK for a few more photos and an account of the day.

- I teach a group of young children and we are going to make your peanut butter pinecones next week - Thanks
Lynne, great bluejay - what a poser
Thanks! I fixed the pic problem by the way
That's awesome, I'm glad to give any ideas I can.
edit: I'll warn you though, if you are going to be making several of these you might want the jumbo jar of peanut butter!
Bella, I've never seen a pygmy nuthatch - thanks for the pic! - I can see all of your pics perfectly

Bella, do you sprinkle your peaunt butter pine cones with birdseed or just leave them ? Thanks for the ideas on the other topic !
I find a pretty sturdy looking, opened pine cone and coat it in peanut butter- as much as i can fit in the cracks- then put it in a bucket of bird seed and get as much birdseed to stick as I can. Seems to work pretty well
Question: are you able to see my pictures on here right now? Everyone's but mine are showing up on my computer and I don't know if it's my computer or the site I use for my pics...
Thank you Bella ! So are yours,, I have admired them all day.
