Not sure where to stick this question so this seems to be the best place.

How often is it updated? I mean the pictures cycling in it, are they all in the last 24 hours, or older? Or are new pics added as they are taken?

And yes I know it's not live just curious.

Africam are dependent upon the Cape leopard Trust to provide the images and that depends upon whenever the researchers at the CLT have the time to produce new CD's and send them on to Africam.

Recently, due to work pressures and various other difficulties, the CLT has not been able to produce new CD's - so many of the images seen on the cam are re-runs.

Please don't let this put you off watching as there are always 'new' animals to be seen via the cam - the Cape Leopard Trust are fighting to preserve the few remaining Cape Leopards (which are possibly a different sub-species to the leopards in the rest of Africa) with limited resources available to them.

For more information about the vital work that the Cape Leopard Trust are doing, please visit www.capeleopard.org.za

There are - but we do not 'advertise' them here!

I suggest that you 'Google' to find other cams although, personally, I believe that the cams featured on Africam are the very best available - and that you will find that Nkorho cam is the only truly wild 'live streaming' cam that operates all year round.
