Turtle

Is the Watering Hole stocked with aquatic life? I see bubbles and/or debris or something. I've seen two turtles already and when they appear out of the water it is a nice surprise.

I would just like to clarify here that the term 'turtle' means different things to those in different countries!

I believe that the term 'turtle' is used in the USA, and some other countries, to describe various species of Chelonia that are otherwise known individually as turtles, terrapins or tortoises in other countries.

To quote from the Wildlifecampus Game Ranger course on this:
* All terrestrial species are known as tortoises
* All marine species are known as turtles
* All species that frequent fresh water habitats are known as terrapins.

So, in effect, the Chelonia seen at Nkorho pan should be referred to as Terrapins, not Turtles! Laughing out loud
