I was wondering if there was somewhere the moderators and people that work at the lodge could post their pictures.. It would be nice to see who we are talking to and who is doing so much for us to all watch this.

I agree. The people who feed our addiction are important to us! Without you, where would we be? LOL __________________

You do NOT want to see a pic of me...... trust me on this! However, my term as a Moderator will come to an end very soon, so you will not actually have to experience bad dreams after seeing my pic! __________________

I have resigned for 'Personal Reasons' as from today!
Moderators are 'permanent' unless they have a good reason for resigning - I have health issues which take up too much of my time and which I need to concentrate upon for the next few months - Moderating the Boma takes several hours each day for every Moderator and I cannot commit enough time for this right now.
As for how and why I became an Africam Moderator (if you are still interested- lol) I was asked by Todd Kaplan of Wildlifecampus (WLC) wildlifecampus.com to help him out with the Africam Forums that he is involved with because I am very pro-active on the WLC message boards, and their Yahoo Group - and have done various wildlife courses via WLC and Eco-Training ecotraining.co.za
The result is that have some knowledge about the animals and birds that can be seen on the current African Cams (Nkorho and Tau) and, as I have been an avid Africammer since early 2000 and wanted to help the new owner (Campbell Scott, who I was lucky enough to meet in 2000 and again in 2001, and who I had a lot of respect for) with the new Boma I, agreed to help out for a limited time.
My time as a Moderator has now ended - I am very grateful to Campbell and Todd for giving me the opportunity to be directly involved for the last few months - and I will continue to support Africam and the Moderators in their efforts on our behalf.
