 Question for those of you who have been watching the cam for awhile... Since I have been here (A little over a month), I have seen so many lions. Both the pride on Christmas and then the most recent Styx pride. Are lions a pretty common appearance here at the pond? Just curious if you all have always seen lions at the pond, or if we are seeing more due to the fact there are a lot of other animals (both big and small) roaming around the pond?

 Between 10 th September and 30 November we have seen only two times lions...but I remember a post from Karin when she said that lions were around that time too and it was strange we hadn't seen them on cam. In December and January ...you know we had a lot of great sightings __________________

I've been watching since early October and up until X-mas, there was only one time that there were lions on the cam, it was 2 big males that were just passing through in the evening. I think that was in November?So we have been very lucky since X-mas!! Hopefully they will continue to stay in the area  |

I have been watching the watering hole since Nov., 2006 and had the first sighting of lions in Jan., 07. It was an amazing sight , hopefully we will see them more often in the future.
