I am new here, and did not know to write down the time and date of my sighting because I was not admitted to the forum yet. But... around Thursday evening (EST) when it was early morning hours (3 am?) at the waterhole.
I saw two animals come to the water hole together and I could not identify them. They had smallish heads, I believe, were four-footed mammals, had long tails in back that were bushy, and the last 1/3 to 1/2 of the tail was light colored. Do Giant Anteaters come to the water hole?
I am not sure the heads were those of an anteater, but they did walk with their heads down, and their tails remind me of photos I looked up of the Giant Anteater. I don't remember whether they had the stripe on the shoulder though... did anyone see them and does anyone know what they were?
