Is that a frog or the other hyena sound?

All I hear are crickets and frogs just now.

Thanks Chuck. Must be a frog I'm hearing. The crickets make my sound get all this pulsating static that obsficates everything else.

Hello Looks like it has been a pretty quiet night so far.

Hello: Looks like it has been pretty quiet all day....perhaps there are predators in the area.

Maybe they will make an appearance

I don't know. Babs hasn't sounded the predator alarm. Not yet anyway.

It is nice that we have a database of animals' pictures. However, I don't know the calls... it would be nifty to have a set of files that were wav files, of the various sounds!

(If wishes were fishes...)

My wish is that people with sound capture would try and capture bird sounds as they're heard, like the picture captures, and post those in the daily sightings (uh oh i'm gunna get in trouble).

I guess noone else saw that small dark critter behind the waterhole near the bush that looks like a lion or the dog behind that one...maybe it was a mongoose...not sure

My goodness! You've got amazing vision. I cannot even dream of making anything out back there, day or night.

It stayed around for alil bit and it came from the water area when I saw it....and no I don't have good eyes it had to be a fluke that I was the only one to see it lol..... :shock:

Good evening, good morning fellow cammers! Believe me, it's a selfish thing I know, but I am always relieved when I've had to do something like be social and go out for dinner, that nothing has happened in my absence. I head into the condo like a wild animal, turn on the monitor and am so afraid there has been some sort of sighting I've missed. Tonight is not the case - thank you animals for saving yourselves for people like me who dare to venture out into the world to eat!!

Ok, I am starting to feel right at home, and do you want to know why?

When someone uses an imaginary vision in some tree's and bushes I know which ones they are talking about.

And here I thought I was the only one crazy enough to "see" things in the foliage.

No, you aren't the only crazy one. LOL I like the elephant tree and the dog bush. And during the daylight hours, the giraffe tree.

I have a gut feeling that some of us might see a Baboon soon.
