 has anyone tried opening a new cam window. when i did it directed me straight to the wavelit site, will not let me open it from the africam site. are they doing website maintence this evening? __________________

I was involved in yesterdays mess...I was upset.. I thought the forum was wiped out without notice. I couldn't imagine having to deal with 66,000 thousand people every time a baboon made a noise "what was that? did you hear that? I noticed a comment on the Africam forum over at wavelit...The person wrote.."The cam is back up, maybe we will see some Tigers now"

Oh my, am I glad it's back ! I tried last night to watch and got all that Wavelit stuff. Was ever sooooo disappointed ! __________________

A-OK here. We are back to the original link to get into the water hole. Who ever fixed this THANK YOU. We would have had a lot of un-happy students if they could not have watched this this AM. THANK YOU __________________

A word of advice...make a shortcut to the forum on your desktop, that is where I have it. I agree that the wavelit thing is not userfriendly and I really hate having to watch the commercial. Glad it opens in WMP for me! __________________

If you just go to africam.com, there's a menu across the top. You can click on Forum there and it takes you straight into the Africam forums menu. No wavelit involved. That's how I always do it. Maybe someone already said the - but there still seems to be a lot of confusion. Sorry if I'm being redundant. __________________

Well it's new to us. There was no warning about it. I was confused too trying to find out where this forum went, etc. The people at WaveLit will just have to keep explaining...rofl

I am unable to get anything past the wavelite page...the cam wont open . I can open the forum but cant post without registering. Is that going to be the new forum?
No Mary, this forum is going to continue as normal. I'm sooooo glad to hear this forum is going to continue as normal. The people on the wavelit seem a little upset with all the questions about the new set up.  |
