I'm up again, but have an odd picture of a close up with the letters EVF 9600 ID-001. Does that sound familiar to anyone else?

Did they change the Wavelit site or am I just haveing trouble.
I'm not too sure what exactly I am looking at....it's zoomed in on something..grass I think..but there is something to the right that looks like a giant male lion head just off to the right of the lighted area. (I'm pretty sure its not a lion tho) I can hear crickets and there are letters and #'s on the cam screen.
Is it just me?

I have those letters too....are you seeing a lighted area and some shadowy that looks like a lions face to the right?

I can't see that anyone would be working on the cam at 2:11 am their time. It's probably gone to some default setting.

Probably highly unlikely that it will be "fixed" until the zoomie shows up in the AM.

The camera went down about 4:oopm (our time). It tried to come back a few times and wound up here. It's staring at the ground under the camera until someone comes to start it up again. It does that sometimes.

With permission from Ingwe, I opened a new topic for Nkorho sound recordings. There are so many wonderful sounds happening around us when we're left staring at the water hole (or the ground). It's a really good way to learn who the animals are by their voices.

I put a few sound files up to start this off.

ibmary,
I went to africam.com and it brings up wavelit, click on Wildlife tab on the left and then click on africam. It brings it up but right now the camera is pointed at the ground so you aren't missing anything!

Hey, as long as the watering hole cam is down, has anyone checked out the grizzly cam? It's on the wavelit site right underneath africam. They're snoozing, but move around a little. Kinda cute.

Not sure I like all the advertisement at the WaveLit site. I understand the need for the ads, but the bright blue background and flashing ads are annoying.

I'm sooooo glad to hear this forum is going to continue as normal. The people on the wavelit seem a little upset with all the questions about the new set up.
