There seems to be some problems with Mac users not being able to get the stream. If you are a Mac user please share your experience with us. Wavelit have informed me that mac users need to instal Flip4Mac http://www.flip4mac.com/wmv_download.htm I believe you need to uninstal windows media player?

Thanks
Campbell

Hi Florian. Yeah that would make sense...to have broadband.... so near and yet so far! My pooter will gladly take broadband but my Bro's pooter is very old and won't ,so getting broadband for me is not an option at the mo, unfortunately. But I will do as you suggest and contact Wavelit anyhoooo just to see what they say or advise.
Thanx for responding to my post. Smiling

Hi Su !...just happened to see your post. I am NOT an expert at all, but I think that this would make the difference....I read somewhere that the stream from the cam needs broadband, since a lot of info has to get to the puter relatively fast....sorry...not a big help here...but maybe you want to contact Wavelit for more info on viewing with Mac. The cam image should appear in the same place where the ad is playing (at least thats how its on my computer) ! I am having cable broadband. Greetings, Florian

Since Nkorho-stream was first put on your site I have tried unsuccessfully to view it. If only I had thought to check out the forum! I downloaded Flip4Mac and now I get the page come up and the ad playing and the details of Nkorho pan weather etc but the screen is blue where I assume the image should be.
I have an eMac running on OS X 10.3.9 but I am on dial-up not broadband... would this make a difference? Also I found Firefox the better browser to view it through.

I am running a new iMac on OS X 10.4.8 and am using Safari and Firefox as browsers. For the site AfriCam the Firefox seems to work slightly better (loading the mainpage), but both browser work fine. I have the latest WMPlayer for Mac and had to download and install Flip4Mac to make everything work.
I can watch and use AfriCam, its cameras and the Nkorho- stream just fine with both browsers. I did not have to uninstall the Windows Media Player before I installed Flip4Mac.
I hope I was of some help... Smiling
Florian
