Sat. Feb 10th cam discussion
Mayhaps Mr. Ellie is walking around in a big circle?
Just meandered by... and gone that fast. Didn't even stop for a drink!
I'm only on page 44, still catching up to what I missed. Thanks so much for the "training" website, AuntieLyn! There is another forum that asks "how has Africam changed your life". My golly, the things I'm learning!
Thanks to all of you who chat on this forum! (And of course to you who make it possible at the lodge )
Hello fuzzy waterhole viewers, I have sent a mail off to Africam about the focus problem. We sure could use a red button to press to alert them in times like this.
I'm pretty sure it will be fixed in the morning but at least they will know we are a bit disgruntled.
Ok.. so let me get this straight.. we "adjust" our eyes to accomodate the out-of-focus cam...... gosh. I sure hope my eyes will go back to the right way when I'm done watching out of focus! ha. (I remember when I brought my dog home from the vet after a procedure.. set her down on the floor and her still out of focus eyes headed her straight into the side of the refrig. That could happen to me here...) The cam focus is a bit unpredictable at times...
that looked like a big mongoose, but I think it's the perspective; when creatures are on the near side of the WH they look big, and on the other side, big animals look small..
Thought I've seen some lightening.. maybe the cam focus was affected. Not sure what's happened. I agree it would be nice to see the Rhinos again.. I was hoping to see the baby in the daylight, but didn't happen.. at least while I was still awake.
I just logged on so don't know what happened to the cam but I do know that yesterday I really wanted to see this end of the pond and now I can....maybe the Rhinos will be back they seem to like this side.
