I was watching when all of a sudden this dark shadow appeared along the right side and bottom edge. I hadn't thought of a frog - but thanks. I could see what I thought was a claw and then my imagine took over!

How amazing the picture is tonight even during a storm. I'm just blown away by this technology.

I'm happy for the animals that they are getting good rain, good grazing, and the meat eaters are getting their fill as well I'm sure.

Thanks. I asked because just before I posted, I saw a largish one. Just now, another went past the tree and into the distance, but not quite as big as before. I think of nightjars as smaller, but then I'm only used to them in the PNW.
