For those of you who don't know the Black Eagle cam has a long history but unfortunatly might not have a good future! please read this below and help if you can. The Black Eagle Project and its sub committee the proposed Sisulu Urban Wildlife Reserve, are a Non-profit section 21 company. We are a group of volunteer conservationists fighting to save the Roodekrans Ridge Eco System and all the fauna and flora that resides on it. ! Any donations towards this project are welcome. For further information kindly contact: Arthur Albertson (Coordinator, SRWG): Or: Libby Woodcock (Coordinator, BEPR): Black Eagle Project Roodekrans Banking Details: __________________

So many terrible things are done for the short term gain of individuals and we are losing too much. Wishing you success with your project.

I don't suppose that there is a facility to donate online? I find this much easier and cheaper (as long as it is not via Pay-Pal, which I hate) than sending money via the bank as I end up paying a large fee to the bank - which I resent doing as I would prefer the money to go to the cause. __________________

Would it be possible to set up a subtopic [Africamers for Eagles, or something such] where the users on this site could jointly contribute in some way? If a method were given, there would probably be lots of direct donations. (To write checks & mail them might actually stop some from giving.) We would need a unified depository system set up - a paypal type of thing. The cause would need a unique number to use to make certain donations were directed correctly. Whatcha think?[/i]

You can send a donation straight away from Paypal, nothing in the way of doing that now. Thanks I've never seen a Black Eagle, and might never get the chance when I visit south africa one day but I want the chance so it is a great cause and if it succeeds could lay foundations for the future of an increased role of conservation in South Africa. __________________

I, too, would prefer PayPal or some safe group way we could donate. When I emailed The Black Eagle moderator for an address, they gave me a different P.O.Box number than appears on the original forum. __________________

I read the original post, but don't see any updates regarding donating on line or any such thing. Has anyone heard of a way to contribute online? It also seemed quite odd that they did not provide email addresses to contact those involved - since that is free and international phone calls can be pricey. It could cost $5US to have a decent international call these days, $5 that could not subsequently be contributed. Something for them to think about. Neal
