Read this on the ranger's diary. Wouldn't this have been an amazing sight to see!!!
Great excerpt from the rangers diary. Old cammers harken back to africams Leopard Cam with Kim Wolhuter. For newbies it followed a wildlife documentary maker around a game reserve as he filmed a movie about a leopard. He was with Tjololo(the leopard),for about 18months,all hours of the day and night, to make the hour long? documentary. No doubt guests see more the longer they stay, and private camps like Nkorho your chances increase, and in that area I saw amazing things during 2 stays, but what I prepared myself for prior to going was simply to enjoy every single sighting I had from tallest to smallest. I chose to visit several lodges that africam had cameras at,at the time, because I knew what I could expect to see. In no way was I disappointed!
Great story, conjours up great images in my head. The thing i've noticed since becoming a happy cammer and reading the boma is that these events are rare, not like they are made out in wildlife documentaries. By purely focusing on the good bits of the Afircan wildlife I feel they have taken away from what the whole experience is about.
Africam and the excellent forum has really opened my eyes and brought a lot more excitement to seeing these animals. Thanks for sharing this snippet with us and happy camming!
WOW - LIKE MY 8 YEAR OLD GRANDAUGHTER WOULD SAY - A ONCE IN A LIFE TIME HAPPENING
Amazing. Thanks for sharing!
