Like to suggest an FAQ forum to answer questions most new users seem to ask ie. shooting stars, the names of the critters etc.

Nkorho Bush Lodge FAQ #1: What is the house we sometimes see on camera?

Answers (from Katja. Swoft and Sabine):

That's the Nkorho Bush Lodge, where the camera controls and operators are. Check out this link for great pictures, maps and photos.

Sound distortion: Sometimes caused by the wind blowing over the camera microphone. (I first thought the cam was located near an ocean and waves were crashing on the beach.)

FAQ: Is the watering hole stocked?

I see many birds dive into the WH and assumed fish were in it, but maybe they are diving for bugs? If it is not stocked and if there are fish in it (I know terrapin(s) reside in it), is there a stream that feeds into it?

Water Hole FAQ #1: Does the waterhole every dry up?

Answer from Lzornes: To answer your question when the watering hole level gets low the lodge pumps water into it so it never goes dry.

I originally posted this in the waterhole & decided it may belong here.

I mentioned before that I would like to see a forum that was like a blog from the lodge.
Now I am thinking, maybe a Q&A page??
I have many questions, and I know that others do too, like the gunshot noise, and which lion pride it was. I also wonder if all live there all the time. or have a home to go to??
And last nights party? Karin was pretty clear that she was there too...So who was it that got married??
Inquiring minds yanno Wink

Tusky Pisa: Is a name given to the bull Elephant we are seeing on a regular basis enjoying the dropped fruit of the Marula Trees. So named because he has a broken right tusk, and, he likes to lean to one side, like the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Egyp and Tian are two Egyptian Geese, a pair who are regular visitors, almost inhabitants of the Nkorho Pan.

Egyptian Geese: I'll leave that to the experts.
