Beautiful yard Kru-kab, looks like you have your own private park. If I had a yard like that I don't think I would ever leave home. Your hummingbirds are amazing, I would love to have a great camera, but must do with what I have for now.

Nice pictures, Goldie and Ceri. The baby owl looks like a little old man sitting in a tree with sunglasses on. An amazing picture of the avocet, it truly looks like a six legged bird. Thanks for all the pictures everyone shares. I wish we had more birds around my house to take pictures of, mostly we just have pigeons, doves, sparrows and some hummingbirds. Occasionally we will see an egret or a heron fly by, but they never stop.

Thanks Lynne, yes at some point she had only 4 legs Laughing out loud and another chick walking around and then it went to the avocet and just crawled under the wing. It so strange looking for us, but for them it's so natural, it's like hanging clothes in the cupboard Laughing out loud
I was looking through a telescope and am amazed that the photos came out this clear as it was quite far off

Laughing out loud Great Photo Ceri... I can see why she thought it had six legs  .. It sure is strange looking with many legs...lol... Thanks for sharing that. DID the chicks ever come out of hiding?
