Army'Airforce - moved from wateringhole
My dad was 1 month from retiring from the National guard in pennsylvannia when he was told he wasnt aloud to and he was shipped off to Iraq for over a 1 yr.. and thank god he came home safe, a few of his buddies didnt make it back....very sad...he is now retired ...after 30 years of service...thank god..
yea u know i find it intresting, over here Marines like to tease the Army about bein to easy and stuff but when u go over to Iraq and stuff they are some of ur best friends. for example, i would never have had a good army buddy b4 i went to iraq. afterwards though i have at least 20 - 30.
A man I worked with until I retired last October has also served twice in Irac. He is in Army Reserve with the MP. He worked in the prison in Bagdad.
Yes Alex, thank you and all the military for everything Like the saying goes...Freedom isn't free
lol ur welcome i personally have not seen much combat though i only been fired on like 3 times and 2 out of 3 were by mortars. i work in the rear mainly on planes and helicopters.
Thank you alex for all that you and your fellow soldiers do for this country, without guys and gals like you we would not be able to sit here for hours on end and watch the africam. Semper Fi
