Now that the advertising sponsor has been switched from U.Phoenix to Blackberry, I can't get into Africam. The Blackberry ad plays, the screen states that the video will load shortly, but ten minutes pass by and all I'm getting is Blackberry. If I click on the ad, thinking that if I suffer through more of their advertising, they will let me into Africam, all I get is more Blackberry and still no Africam. I've removed the pop-up blocker for Wavelit but that didn't help.

Help!

Yes! Sad I got the same video this morning! It was kind of a creepy looking thing! It sort of freaked me out as I was half asleep and didn't have my glasses on! :shock: I recently got high speed DSL and now I can't get a link to the cam on my laptop. :cry:

Any suggestions? The normal wavelit link doesn't seem to work for me.

I can't even get that on WMP. It won't even connect. As for the Wavelit site I've tried Firefox,Mozilla and IE as browsers and I get the Classmates pop up and nothing else. I've emptied the cache, disabled anti virus software temporarily and still nothing. I never had many problems with the site until about a week ago. Previously most of the problems were with the cam itself and not the site. Evil

No it doesn't help. I cannot get the Africam with anything. Thanks anyway. Guess I have lost out.

Edited...whoa..i just realized you are in the feb 25th thread.
my post is in the Streaming video ~~ forum..and a new topic dated 07 march.. saying my win media player works...try this~~

I had been watching with the windows media player with mms://live.wildlife.wavelit.net/6192NKP . Now today, there is a notice that says what I am watching is pirated and I have to go through wavlit. Problem is no matter what I try, or how I try to get to it, I can't get it. I am getting a blue screen on the left side and on the right it is orange with the time in South Africa. Anyone have any ideas.

I am using the Windows Media Player to watch the WH. But does anyone have any ideas on why I can't get past the advertising on Africam? It's been like this for two days now and driving me nuts Smiling
